They didn’t walk onto the court just to participate—they came to set the tone. The 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑬𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔 turned every serve into a statement and every play into proof that they were built for the top. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯’𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦; 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵. With heads unbowed and hearts on fire, they stood tall in moments that demanded more. As the whistle faded, they knew their performance had already spoken louder than anything else, leaving behind something far greater—𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵, 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢 𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘤𝘺 no scoreboard could measure.
The 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑬𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔 showcased remarkable 𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒕 and 𝒅𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 throughout the competition. Although they stumbled in their opening match against 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀, this early setback served not as defeat but as a powerful catalyst for 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩. Rather than allowing the loss to shake their confidence, the team used it as fuel to sharpen their focus and elevate their performance in the games that followed. With unwavering commitment and resilience, the 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑬𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔 transformed every subsequent match into an opportunity to demonstrate their 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉, 𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚. Their relentless spirit and teamwork not only earned them respect from their opponents but also truly embodied the fierce and unyielding eagle spirit that defines their legacy.
Throughout the course of the meet, the 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑬𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔 encountered both triumphs and setbacks that thoroughly tested their cohesion and teamwork.
They faced a tough and closely contested match against 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲, but despite their best efforts, they fell short of securing a victory.
In a fierce battle for the 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒛𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒂𝒍 against 𝗚𝗡𝗖 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗶, the 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑬𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔 demonstrated exceptional determination and skill, ultimately securing a well-deserved 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒅-𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 finish. Despite the disappointment from their previous match, the team refused to be disheartened. Instead, they used that setback as motivation to 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘱, 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦 their performance on the court. Their relentless effort and unwavering team spirit paid off as they fought hard to claim the 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒛𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒂𝒍, 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮.
With every 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘬𝘦 and 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦, the 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑩𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝑬𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔 embodied the true spirit of their name—𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔, 𝒔𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈, and 𝒖𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆. Their unity on the court turned tense rallies into opportunities and inspired the crowd with their resilience.
In the end, they transcended the game itself—turning every setback into fuel and every moment on the court into a chapter of 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙚. Their story is not written in trophies alone but in the unbreakable bond they forged and the fierce spirit they ignited within themselves and their spirit. This experience was just the beginning of a legacy destined to soar higher.

As the final move is made and the last clock runs down, 𝑻𝒓𝒐𝒋𝒂𝒏𝒔 of St. Mary’s Academy of Guagua bring to a close not just a match, but a profound experience. Chess is more than a battle of pieces—it is a test of will, vision, and mental endurance.
Over the course of this journey, we witnessed minds in motion, strategies unfold, and stories written one move at a time. Trojans brought more than skill to the board—they brought passion, discipline, and the courage to think under pressure.
From the very first move to the final checkmate, the Trojans truly made their mark in the competition, showcasing both skill and resilience across the board. In the Elementary Girls division, the younger generation of Trojans proved that brilliance knows no age. 𝑺𝒐𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒂 𝑺𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓 earned a hard-fought 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐞 in the 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑑 𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑔𝑜𝑟𝑦, demonstrating maturity beyond her years. Not to be outdone, 𝑫𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒅 shone brightly as well, securing a 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥with a performance that reflected both raw talent and careful strategy.
Meanwhile, In the Secondary Boys division, 𝑨𝒎𝒊𝒆𝒍 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒏𝒈 displayed exceptional talent, earning a well-deserved 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫𝑖𝑛 𝑏𝑜𝑡ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑧 𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑔𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠. His strategic approach and determination were evident at every turn. However, it was 𝑰ñ𝒊𝒈𝒐 𝑹𝒐𝒏𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒐 who truly stood out, clinching 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝in both categories with a flawless display of consistency, precision, and unwavering focus.
Additionally, the 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 and the 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 each secured 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝 in both the standard and blitz team categories, solidifying the Trojans' supremacy and dominance across the board.
Their achievements highlight the strength of determination and passion. By demonstrating focus and perseverance, they have set a high standard for success. With this level of talent and dedication, the future of the game is exceptionally promising. These young champions are poised to lead the way with confidence and excellence.
As the last piece was moved, the board fell silent, like the calm after a Trojan battle. Every maneuver, every sacrifice, was a testament to the battle fought on this board. When the pieces are set again, may your next move always be your best. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐚𝐧𝐬!

Special congratulations also go to those who did not receive an award for showing their efforts and for showing up throughout the game. Their journey toward the end shows something about growth, wisdom, and improvement. A result and a medal do not set you on the wall to never face front again—it serves as a spirit to fight and come back again in the future seasons.
As they go home with their own results, they will still continue to smash, serve, and fight for themselves, returning fiercer and stronger than before. As this season ends with a bang, may they start again—braver and wiser.

The 𝘽𝙡𝙪𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙡𝙩𝙨 of 𝙎𝙩. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙮’𝙨 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙪𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙖 ended their basketball season with heads held high, closing a chapter filled with excitement, challenges, and unforgettable victories.
From the very beginning, the Blue Bolts came out with fire, proving themselves as one of the fiercest competitors on the court. They opened their run with commanding wins, including a thrilling victory over 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮. 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮, where their sharp shooting rained three-pointers throughout the game. Their momentum continued as they outclassed 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗘𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. with a dominant 55-14 finish, and later showcased their full strength in a 75-32 triumph over 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆. Each win added to their confidence, but also revealed the unity and discipline that defined their play.
Perhaps the 𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 of the season came during their game with 𝗚𝗡𝗖 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗶. It was a game that tested not just skill but also heart, as both teams traded baskets in a nail-biting encounter. In the dying minutes, the Blue Bolts held their ground and sealed a breathtaking 47-44 victory—a moment that left the Marian community in awe and pride.
The season’s final chapter was written in the championship clash against 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿. The game was fierce and emotional, with tensions rising and both teams refusing to back down. Despite the 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝘁𝘀’ relentless fight, they eventually fell short. Yet their effort secured them a well-deserved 𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗛 in the tournament. While the scoreboard declared a loss, the spirit they showed on the court told a different story—one of courage, passion, and never-say-die attitude.
This season may not have ended with the championship crown, but it ended with something deeper: growth, lessons, and memories that will last far beyond the final buzzer. The Blue Bolts’ journey was a reminder that success is not only measured in trophies but also in the heart and honor carried through every game.

The 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆’𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗮 lit up this year’s zonal tournament with grit, energy, and an unforgettable journey that brought them all the way to the finals.
Their campaign began with a tough opening game against powerhouse 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿. Despite a strong effort, the Bolts fell short, but instead of breaking their spirit, the loss only fueled their determination to bounce back stronger.
And bounce back they did. In their second outing, the Bolts stormed past 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 with an emphatic 52-21 win, proving they were far from finished. They carried the same fire into their next match, overpowering 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗶 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗮 with a commanding 48-15 score.
But the most thrilling moment came on Day 3, when the Bolts went head-to-head with 𝗚𝗡𝗖 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗶. In a heart-stopping finish, the young squad edged out their opponents by just a single point, 39-38, a victory that showcased their composure and fighting spirit under pressure.
Those wins paved the way for a rematch with 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 in the championship. The Bolts fought with all their heart, but despite their effort, Don Bosco once again prevailed, 36-24, taking the crown.
While the championship slipped away, the 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝘁𝘀’ journey was nothing short of inspiring. From bouncing back after a loss, to dominating their opponents, to surviving a nail-biter, the Bolts proved that they are not just athletes, but warriors with the heart of true champions. They may not have lifted the trophy, but they carried something even greater—the pride of the entire SMAG community.

✦ National Ignacian Marian Youth Camp 2025
Theme: Ignacian Marian Youth Pilgrims of Hope, Living God’s Grace in Jubilation
The third and final day of the National Ignacian Marian Youth Camp 2025 at St. Mary’s College, Inc., Quezon City highlighted both fellowship and faith, as Ignacian Marian delegates from Luzon, Visayas, and Northern and Southern Mindanao came together for the camp’s culminating activities.
The morning was filled with energy as participants joined the 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞, a series of stations designed to foster teamwork, creativity, and the Marian spirit of joyful service. Laughter and camaraderie echoed throughout the campus as each group raced together, strengthening bonds formed during the camp. In the afternoon, the community gathered for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The Mass served as a reminder that every journey of faith begins and ends with God, and that the light of Christ continues to guide the youth in their mission as pilgrims of hope.
As the camp drew to a close, delegates carried home not only memories but also a renewed purpose — to let their light shine and to remain pilgrims of hope in their own communities.
The delegates were accompanied by S. Maria Marife Liezel Novino, RVM (School Christian Formation Coordinator), Mr. Angelo L. Yumul (School Student Activity Coordinator), and Mr. John Paul Santiago (Student Council Moderator).
The delegates from St. Mary’s Academy of Guagua extend their heartfelt gratitude to their ever-supportive Directress-Principal, S. Ma. Lorina A. Jumawan, RVM, and to the RVM Sisters, whose unwavering dedication continues to guide and inspire them to grow as servant leaders grounded in faith, love, and service.

Following the recent heavy rains
and flooding that affected our school, St. Mary’s Academy has taken proactive steps to help prevent the spread of dengue. A cleaning drive, disinfection, and mosquito spraying were conducted within the campus to ensure a safer environment for our students and personnel.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Jose Quiroz, Sanitary Inspector of RHU I, for providing the necessary spraying solution to support our dengue prevention efforts.
Together, let’s keep our school community safe and healthy! #DenguePrevention

SMAG OBSERVES FEAST DAY OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
The SMAG community observed the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on a cloudy Friday morning at the school's covered court.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus is a Catholic devotion that honors the physical heart of Jesus as a symbol of His divine love and mercy. It reminds the faithful of His enduring love for humanity.
During the solemn ceremony, Mr. Mark Francis Correa shared with the students the history of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The opening prayer was then led by S. Maria Marife Liezel Novino, RVM, and Mr. Hutch Napilisan.
Afterwards, the candle offering was led by the president of each class, followed by a flower offering by the selected students along with the serenade. The reading of the Holy Gospel was done by Mr. Warren Bitangjol.
Marking the end of the solemn celebration, S. Ma. Lorina A. Jumawan, RVM, together with S. Maria Marife Liezel Novino, RVM, led the closing prayer.
The SMAG community, with a renewed and deeper sense of faith, carried with them the enduring message of love and mercy embodied by the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

STUDENT LEADERS FACE OFF IN BALITAKTAKAN 2025
Leadership, conviction, and wit took center stage at BALITAKTAKAN 2025: Tinig ng Pamunuan, Tinig ng Pag-asa, the much-awaited showcase of student leadership between the student council partylists of St. Mary’s Academy of Guagua, held on June 27, 2025. The program was hosted by the vibrant duo, Mr. Jean Dane Canlas and Ms. Elijah Hulssey Sebastian.
The event featured two partylists — LAGI and TUMALIMA — as they battled it out for the students' trust and votes, delivering their ideas and intentions with purpose and passion.
BALITAKTAKAN 2025 was divided into three rounds designed to challenge the candidates' leadership abilities. In the first round, they were given random leadership-related words and had only 30 seconds to define and explain them.
The second round brought them closer to the student body, as they answered real questions submitted by fellow Marians within a 40-second time frame. The final round upped the intensity as candidates responded to thought-provoking questions from the panelists: Mr. Christian Catacutan (Prefect of Students), Mr. Angelo Yumul (Student Activity Coordinator), and Shane Simon, former Student Council President of S.Y. 2023–2024.
To cap off the event, the presidential candidates were given two minutes to deliver their final pitches — passionate, persuasive messages aimed at winning the hearts of every Marian. BALITAKTAKAN 2025 turned the spotlight on future leaders who chose not to compete, but to stand — to represent, to speak, and to serve with meaning.
