CAMPUS MINISTRY
Campus Ministry nurtures a community of faith through spiritual formations towards conversion and maturity in Christ and integrates pastoral formation for the members to participate in the building of the Kingdom of God within and outside the campus.
OBJECTIVES
Provide avenues for meaningful encounter with God towards growth in spiritual life, inner freedom and apostolic fervor.
Foster an environment of inclusive education through interfaith dialogue and respect for cultural diversity.
Create a Christ-centered community characterized by a deep prayer life, communion and dynamic sense of apostolic service.
As we mourn the loss of our dear Pope Francis, we join the Universal Church in grateful remembrance of him whose leadership mirrored the mercy and compassion of God.

THANKSGIVING MASS
The school year 2024 - 2025 ended with a Thanksgiving Mass last March 27, 2025 with the school's beloved chaplain, Rev. Fr. Benjamin Espiritu III as the officiating priest.
362nd Baptismal Anniversary of Mother Ignacia
The school community celebrated the 362nd Baptismal Anniversary of Venerable Mother Ignacia del Espiritu Santo through various activities involving all students and personnel:
Eucharistic Celebration (MIC, MIM, RVM sisters)
Community Outreach (MIC, SPC) @ Casa Miani and RSCC, Lubao
Floral Offering (Grades 1 - 3)
Prayer Wall and Art Station (Grades 4 - 6)
Prayer Service in the Way of Taize (Grades 7 - 12, personnel)
First Communion
This school year, 55 pupils had their First Communion last January 25, 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Parish.
The celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Benjamin Espiritu III.
PERSONNEL RETREAT
Personnel of St. Mary's Academy of Guagua had their Preached Retreat facilitated by Bro. Emmanuel "Noel" Salvacion, founding director of Kairos Retreat and Training Services last August 22 - 24, 2024 at Betania Retreat House, Baguio City.
HOLY SPIRIT MASS
To open the school year with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, a Holy Spirit Mass was held last August 24, 2023 (Thursday). This was presided by Rev. Fr. Benjamin B. Espiritu III, Parochial Vicar of Immaculate Conception Parish, Guagua. The rite of missioning of personnel was also held during the mass.
FEAST OF THE NATIVITY OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
To celebrate the great feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Holy Mass was offered. The induction of SMAG PTA, SMAG Personnel Club, and club officers was also held during the mass.
SERENADE TO MARY
Students and personnel of the Ignacian Marian Community offered prayers and offerings to Mary on her birthday. The offerings collected were used in the relief operations of the school to its adopted community due to flooding brought by continuous rains.
HOLY SPIRIT MASS
The Holy Spirit Mass was held to officially open the school year.
HOLY HOUR EVERY THURSDAY BEFORE FIRST FRIDAY
As part of our devotion to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, a Holy Hour is being held every Thursday before the First Friday. During this prayer service, petitions of the Holy Father and of the school community were being offered.
FIRST FRIDAY MASS EVERY MONTH
The school community offer mass every First Friday of the month in honor of the Most Sacred heart of Jesus. Every First Friday, students are also encouraged to bring goods which are being turned over to the Community Involvement Program for its outreach activities.
BASIC ECCLESIAL COMMUNITY
To culminate the devotion to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus every month, the Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) is being held every First Friday afternoon for personnel and on following Monday for students. This activity helped in strengthening the faith and bond of every member of the community.
CHRISTIAN LIVING, CAMPUS MINISTRY, AND MOTHER IGNACIA CLUB MONTHS
The school celebrated the Christian Living, Campus Ministry, and Mother Ignacia Club Months on September and October of year 2023. Different activities were held for the celebration. The celebration culminated with an activity and Living Rosary participated by the members of the school community.
SEASON OF ADVENT
The school community is one with the Universal Church in commemorating the season of advent, the season of preparation for the Lord's second coming and also the commemoration of His first coming. The commemoration started with the blessing of the advent wreath.
SEASON OF LENT
The school community is one with the Catholic Church for her observation of the season of lent, the season of fasting and almsgiving, of reparation and commemoration of Christ's suffering and death. The commemoration opened with an Ash Wednesday Mass wherein ashes were imposed of the heads of the students and personnel, reminding them that they are dust, and to dust they shall return.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS
In line with the observation of the season of lent, Stations of the Cross was held every Friday of the season. It was culminated by Estacion Mayor, wherein selected students performed the tableau of the fourteen stations while the community reflected on the message brought to them by the Stations of the Cross.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
One of the services offered by the Campus Ministry is the First Holy Communion to our pupils and students who are ready to receive the body and blood of Christ for the first time. The activity was held the parish church of Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepcion in Guagua, Pampanga.
PERSONNEL'S ANNUAL RETREAT
Part of the spiritual formation being given to the personnel of St. Mary's Academy of Guagua is their annual retreat. This school year, the retreat was held in Mirador Retreat House in Baguio City and was facilitated by the Parochial Vicar of Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepcion of Guagua, Pampanga, Rev. Fr. Benjamin B. Espiritu III.
GRADE 10 AND 12 RETREAT
The candidates for completion and graduation of the school had their three-day retreat at the Betania Retreat House in Baguio City. Their retreat was facilitated by Rev. Fr. John Loubert Manansala, CRS (grade 10) and Rev. Fr. Menandro Rivera, CRS (grade 12).
SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
As part also of the observation of the season of lent, the Sacrament of Reconciliation was held to students of St. Mary's Academy of Guagua. It was facilitated by the priests of Somascan Fathers Seminary.
