𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗠𝗔 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗮'𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗻
𝘎𝘶𝘢𝘨𝘶𝘢 𝘗𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢 - The streets burst with colors as more than a hundred of Ignacian-Marian runners joined the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗻 on August 29, as part of the celebration of the 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 at St. Mary’s Academy.
At around 5:00 a.m., runners gathered at the Mother Ignacia Building for a Zumba dance session that served both as a place for warm-up and as the starting point of the run.
As the event began, the participants were splashed with colors and took on interactive games and challenges as they encountered six (6) different stations set across the route, adding fun and motivation in their journey.
"𝘔𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘢 𝘱𝘰 𝘭𝘢𝘭𝘰 𝘯𝘢 𝘯𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘺𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘢 𝘱𝘰 𝘬𝘢𝘮𝘪 𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘬𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘵. 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘰 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘨-𝘍𝘶𝘯 𝘳𝘶𝘯!" Said one among the Marian runners as he approached the finish line.
Beyond the joyful run, the school also prioritized public safety and crowd control by assigning marshals, rescue team members, students officers, and moderators to serve helping roles at each station.
Furthermore, to recognize their efforts and athleticism, which are qualities nurtured in 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the first ten (10) runners to cross the finish line received prizes.
Some of the teachers also participated in the run.
"𝘚𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘧𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘐 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘩 [𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦] 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘣𝘰 𝘢𝘬𝘰. 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘯 𝘬𝘰 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘢 𝘯𝘨 '𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘣𝘰!' 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮," said Mr. Warren Bitangjol, the first teacher to cross the finish line. "𝘕𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘢-𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵. 𝘕𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘢-𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺!"
In the end, a water-splashing activity and another round of zumba led by the Indak Marians, capped the event.
The Color Fun Run concluded on a safe note, leaving the marians with lasting memories that will mark the spirit of 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

Balanced Living Starts Today!
On August 6, 2025, students gained valuable tips on health and success during the “Balanced Living: A Student Roadmap to Health and Success” lecture with Dr. Jennalyn M. Pinlac. This insightful event was part of the clinic’s Wellness Program and was made possible through the generous support of Alumni Batch 2001. As a token of appreciation, ballpens were given to the students who attended the session.

STUDENT LEADERS FACE OFF IN BALITAKTAKAN 2025
Leadership, conviction, and wit took center stage at BALITAKTAKAN 2025: Tinig ng Pamunuan, Tinig ng Pag-asa, the much-awaited showcase of student leadership between the student council partylists of St. Mary’s Academy of Guagua, held on June 27, 2025. The program was hosted by the vibrant duo, Mr. Jean Dane Canlas and Ms. Elijah Hulssey Sebastian.
The event featured two partylists — LAGI and TUMALIMA — as they battled it out for the students' trust and votes, delivering their ideas and intentions with purpose and passion.
BALITAKTAKAN 2025 was divided into three rounds designed to challenge the candidates' leadership abilities. In the first round, they were given random leadership-related words and had only 30 seconds to define and explain them.
The second round brought them closer to the student body, as they answered real questions submitted by fellow Marians within a 40-second time frame. The final round upped the intensity as candidates responded to thought-provoking questions from the panelists: Mr. Christian Catacutan (Prefect of Students), Mr. Angelo Yumul (Student Activity Coordinator), and Shane Simon, former Student Council President of S.Y. 2023–2024.
To cap off the event, the presidential candidates were given two minutes to deliver their final pitches — passionate, persuasive messages aimed at winning the hearts of every Marian. BALITAKTAKAN 2025 turned the spotlight on future leaders who chose not to compete, but to stand — to represent, to speak, and to serve with meaning.

SMAG OBSERVES FEAST DAY OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
The SMAG community observed the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on a cloudy Friday morning at the school's covered court.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus is a Catholic devotion that honors the physical heart of Jesus as a symbol of His divine love and mercy. It reminds the faithful of His enduring love for humanity.
During the solemn ceremony, Mr. Mark Francis Correa shared with the students the history of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The opening prayer was then led by S. Maria Marife Liezel Novino, RVM, and Mr. Hutch Napilisan.
Afterwards, the candle offering was led by the president of each class, followed by a flower offering by the selected students along with the serenade. The reading of the Holy Gospel was done by Mr. Warren Bitangjol.
Marking the end of the solemn celebration, S. Ma. Lorina A. Jumawan, RVM, together with S. Maria Marife Liezel Novino, RVM, led the closing prayer.
The SMAG community, with a renewed and deeper sense of faith, carried with them the enduring message of love and mercy embodied by the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
