The Community Involvement Program provides opportunities and experiences towards greater opportunities and experiences towards greater involvement of the students and personnel in helping the underprivileged sectors in the society build sustainable communities where they live their life with dignity.
Objectives:
Provide opportunities to the students and personnel for them to become aware of the conditions and needs of the community and raise their level of consciousness on the different social concerns;
Foster deeper awareness and involvement in social advocacies and pastoral concerns in the society and Church through linkages and networking with the Parish, Archdiocese and other religious organizations;
Facilitate the spiritual residents for disaster risk reduction management to prepare them for possible calamities and enable them to handle the adverse effects of such calamities;
Provide skills training and literacy to improve the people’s economic and educational status;
Share human and material resources for outside community projects and activities; and
Prepare provisions for assistance to the needy.
